A white‑label e‑voting stack that uses SSI credentials, anonymous tokens, smart contracts and IPFS to deliver secure, auditable and user‑friendly elections.
Votify is an e‑voting platform that uses SSI credentials, anonymous tokens, smart contracts and IPFS to deliver secure, auditable, and user‑friendly elections for universities, companies, and other communities that are using SSI credentials, while reducing admin effort and protecting voter privacy.
Votify is an e‑voting platform designed to provide fair, private, and verifiable elections for SSI using organizations. It addresses past issues such as duplicate votes, the need of data / addresses to provide ballots to vote, and manual counting by combining self‑sovereign identity, blind signatures, smart contracts, and on-/off‑chain storage. Eligible voters authenticate with verifiable credentials issued through the Swiyu infrastructure. The backend verifies these presentations and issues one‑time anonymous voting tokens, which prevent double voting while keeping voter identities unlinkable to their ballots. Votes, proofs, and tallies are stored and published to IPFS, with hashes anchored on chain when blockchain mode is enabled. Election creators configure sessions in a web dashboard, including timing, questions, eligibility rules, and pricing. A Solidity smart contract manages escrow funding, fee calculation, and automatic refunds of unused ETH, so organizers have predictable costs and transparent financial flows. Voters interact only with a web interface and the Swiyu wallet and do not need a crypto wallet. The governance model distributes responsibility across issuers, the platform operator, and independent verifiers, supported by open protocol specifications and auditable logs. Stakeholders benefit from lower administrative effort, improved trust in outcomes and a reusable identity‑based approach that can be adopted by universities, companies or civic organizations.
